HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES
EHS-Alaska specializes in surveys for hazardous materials in buildings. Our staff is highly experienced in knowing where to look for the hazards that may be hidden in buildings because of previous renovations or building changes.
Accurate and biddable Hazardous Materials Abatement Designs requires more than just taking samples. Original finishes may look identical and exist side-by-side with renovated materials, and sweeping assumptions in previously renovated buildings unnecessarily cost clients money. EHS-Alaska carefully reviews all available “As Built” information and our experienced team combines that knowledge with clues on-site to distinguish between hazardous and non-hazardous materials to eliminate or reduce surprises and change orders during construction.
EHS-Alaska staff will visit your buildings that are scheduled for renovations or demolitions and provide the following services:
Asbestos, Lead, PCB’s, Mercury Surveys,
Hazardous Materials Abatement Drawings and Technical Specifications for inclusion in your bid documents, and
Construction Management and Monitoring including on-site inspections and review of work plans and close out documents.
